Moments in the Meadow with “The Shadow” by Kimberly Rae

"The Shadow"

Wow!

Wow!

Wow!

My first Kimberly Rae read, "The Shadow", can be summed up in those three words.

Years ago as a late 20's young married mom, I was encouraged by a "Titus 2" lady in my church to quench my love for reading with Christian based books, especially when it came to Fiction. Fast forward 30+ years and I've still not exhausted my Christian book list nor my goal of reading a book a week.

When I got accepted to this book launch team I carved out a spot in a weekend to start on this book and boy oh boy, I'm so glad I did! I literally couldn't put it down and I'm really glad I already had my housework completed.

Ms Rae had me involved in the story and on the edge of my seat during the book which ended entirely too soon. Lucias Maddox Moore gave me shivers as his evil multiple personalities began to emerge. I found myself trying to warn Meagan of his stalking once I realized his murderous intentions.

In the process of reading a gripping tale, learning of the bravery and rescue ministry of Rahab's Rope enlightened me of the evil business of human trafficking. My heart was shattered learning more about the victims and the horrific life they're forced to endure. I have found myself praying for this organization and the brave folks on the battlefront. So many people don't realize how a fiction story can impact your life. "The Shadow" is a wonderful tool for readers to begin the journey of education of this heinous crime.

I definitely give this book 5 stars an have recommended it to several friends.

After reading the book, I immediately went to my public library and checked out the 2 books by Kimberly Rae they had on the shelf. I've also requested they order all her books.

Praying God continues to inspire Ms. Rae with stories that not only capture our attention but takes our heart hostage as well.

Joyfully His,Dianne
